stylish and good protection by Greco
This case looks great and fits easily in the pocket. As some reviewers noted, a slight drawback is that you do need to remove the ipod from the case to charge it, but it does slide out easily, when you open the flap. While in use, the ipod is securely in place, with access for cords, etc. The case is very sturdy and offers great protection. I have tried other cases and like this the most.

Fitting by Samuel Chell
Having just returned an iMainGo “personal” speaker that, in effect, upconverted my iPod Nano 3G into a clunky boom box, I’m happy to report that this Belkin case is tailor-made for the little tyke. The word “Folio” is hardly an apt description for a diminutive, square-ish item that is barely any wider or taller than the Nano itself. The leather is good quality and smells it. A caveat: you can’t charge the Nano while it’s in the case (some easy, minor adjustments by the manufacturer to the elastic strap would have made the dock connector accessible) nor is its audio output easily accessible to certain cables (esp. with a right-angle mini-plug) while encased.

If purchased at its retail price (or anything north of 10 bucks), the Belkin Case will no doubt disappoint, though to see a large box arrive from Amazon with contents smaller than a single playing card may provide some compensating humor.

Note: Although Amazon currently lists this Belkin Nano 3G case as “black,” it’s actually black&brown. In fact, I see no difference between it and the Belkin case listed as “black&chocolate” at a lower price. Maybe Amazon has in mind the skin color of the consumer. Whichever is lower priced, I’ll be that color.

its nice and snug, and stylish! its so much better looking than just the plastic sleeves that are out there.

Slim and Sturdy Protection by S. L. Potter
I’ve seen this case in pink in the stores locally, so I was glad to find it in Black/Brown online. As the other reviews state, it’s a slim little case with suede lining that provides easy access to the headphone port and hold switch. The case is sturdy without adding bulk and has no annoying belt clip. The screen protector does create a slight glare, but it’s not super distracting (and easily removable with a razor blade if you just can’t stand it). You can’t access the dock port, but as a trade, the port gets protected from dust/debris.

The magnetic closure is nice, though I’m unsure about the potential magnet-to-hard drive effects - there’s still no definitive report on how a tiny magnet may affect the Nano’s flash memory.

In all, it’s slim, sturdy, and protects the Nano’s screen and easily-scratched mirror back while still allowing access to controls and the headphone jack.
